e-Maintenance provides a new level of service for end users, enabling World of Color to ensure the up-time of Canon devices and work towards providing you with a faster and more proactive level of service.
Taking Control 24/7
e-Maintenance is based on canon’s Remote Diagnostics System which gives you the customer all the information you need about any canon machine on your computer network. This information is delivered on-line, in real time via a standard internet browser. At the same time RDS alerts us as it happens, allowing us to respond faster than ever before.
Remote Diagnostics
The system sends an alert if a fault occurs or when a device is not performing according to pre-determined conditions. For example if the number of paper misfeeds exceeds a certain number we are alerted by email.
Create the right balance
The RDS allows the central administrator to monitor the status, workload and usage pattern for each individual device, creating reports to give an over view of how each machine performs.
Secure and simple
The security standards for e-Maintenance are very high. Communication between the system and the outside world is email based, encrypted and mainly outbound. It uses your existing email structure and follows your email security procedures.
Less Administration and errors
e-Maintenance reports meter and counter readings direct to us, reducing manual reporting and means counter reporting errors are virtually eliminated allowing accurate billing of service.
